12 days combining classic Egypt (Pyramids, Nile cruise, Luxor) with a 2-night desert camping expedition through Bahariya Oasis and the White Desert.
If you've already seen classic Egypt or want something beyond temples-and-cruise, this is the route. You'll spend 2 days in Cairo, then drive 5 hours west into the Western Desert for hot springs at Bahariya, a 4×4 expedition through the Black Desert, and an overnight camping experience under the stars in the White Desert (chalk formations that look like another planet at sunrise). Then back to Cairo and onto the standard cruise + Luxor route. Best for adventure travelers and photographers; not recommended for travelers who don't enjoy a night of camping.
