Pricing & Payment Policy
What you pay for, what you don't, how the deposit works, accepted methods, and our price-stability guarantee.
What is included
Unless your itinerary explicitly states otherwise, our package prices include:
• All accommodation listed on your itinerary, in the room category you confirmed.
• Daily breakfast at hotels; full board on Nile cruises (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Private air-conditioned vehicle and driver for all city transfers and tours within Egypt.
• Licensed English-speaking Egyptologist guide for sightseeing days (other languages available on request, may incur a supplement).
• Entry tickets to attractions named in the itinerary.
• Domestic flights within Egypt when listed in the itinerary (e.g. Cairo–Aswan, Luxor–Cairo).
• 24/7 in-Egypt support from our office during your trip.
• All government taxes and service charges on the included items above.
What is not included
Unless explicitly listed in your itinerary, the following are not included:
• International flights to and from Egypt.
• Egypt entry visa (currently US$25 on arrival for most nationalities; check your nationality's requirements).
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended — see our Cancellation Policy).
• Optional add-on activities (hot air balloon, sound & light shows, additional excursions).
• Meals not specified in the itinerary.
• Drinks, snacks, mini-bar, laundry, phone calls, and other personal expenses.
• Tipping for guides, drivers, hotel staff, and cruise crew (we provide a recommended tipping guide before your arrival).
• Any local taxes or fees imposed after the booking is confirmed.
Currency and quotes
All published prices are in US Dollars (USD) per person, based on two travelers sharing a room. Solo-traveler supplements and group discounts are applied to your custom quote.
On request, we can quote and invoice in EUR, GBP, or other currencies at our internal exchange rate on the day of quoting. Currency conversion fees from your bank or card provider are not included in our prices.
Deposit and final payment
To confirm your booking and lock in supplier reservations, we require a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
The remaining 75% balance is due 30 days before your arrival in Egypt.
Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
Once you settle the deposit, your trip price is locked — even if our published rates increase, you will not pay more for what is already confirmed.
Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods:
• Major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Maestro, BitPay (handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor).
• PayPal (linked to a card or bank account).
• Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported by your card.
• Direct bank transfer in USD, EUR, or GBP (for full-package payments only — bank wire fees on the sender side are paid by the traveler).
We do not accept cash, cheques, money orders, or cryptocurrency.
Payment security
All online payments go through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors with 3-D Secure authentication where supported by your bank. We never store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date on our servers — those are handled directly by the payment processor's vault.
We will never request payment via wire transfer, gift cards, or any payment method outside the systems described above. If you receive any such request claiming to be from us, please contact us directly to verify.
Price increases
Once your deposit is paid, your price is guaranteed except in extraordinary circumstances:
• Government tax or fuel surcharge increases imposed after your booking, and only for the affected line items.
• Significant currency-pair movement of more than 8% if you booked in a non-USD currency, in which case we will offer the choice of paying the difference, switching the affected items to a comparable lower-tier option, or cancelling the booking with a full deposit refund.
We do not raise prices to chase peak-season demand once your deposit is in.
Children and family discounts
• Children under 2 years are free in the parents' room (no separate bed; meals payable on consumption).
• Children 2–6 years sharing the parents' room receive 50% off the per-person price for the package portion.
• Children 6–11 years sharing the parents' room receive 25% off the per-person price.
• Children 12+ are priced as adults.
Some attraction tickets and domestic flights have their own age-based pricing rules — your planner will detail these in your quote.
Group rates
Groups of 6 or more travelers automatically qualify for a group discount, calculated on the package portion of your trip. Larger groups may be eligible for additional benefits such as one free traveler for every 15 paying travelers. Talk to your planner for a custom group quote.
Refunds
Refund handling is detailed in our Cancellation & Refund Policy page. In short: refunds are processed within 7–15 business days to the original payment method, and travel insurance is the safest protection against last-minute cancellations.
