Refund tiers at a glance
Refund amounts depend on how far in advance of your arrival in Egypt you cancel. The earlier you cancel, the more we and our suppliers can recover.
How to cancel
To cancel a booking, email us at [email protected] or send a message on WhatsApp to +20 113 103 1319. Please include your booking reference, lead traveler name, and travel dates.
Your cancellation is effective on the date we receive your written request — not the date of any earlier conversation. We will reply within 24 hours (often much sooner) to confirm the refund tier that applies and next steps.
Refund timeline
Once your cancellation is confirmed:
• Refunds via PayPal or credit/debit card are typically issued within 7 business days.
• Refunds via bank transfer take 7 to 15 business days depending on your bank.
• Refunds are issued in the original currency and to the original payment method whenever possible.
If you paid in USD/EUR/GBP and your card was billed in another currency, your bank may apply its own conversion fee — that fee is outside our control.
Changes to your itinerary
We will accommodate reasonable changes free of charge up to 14 days before arrival, subject to supplier availability — for example switching a hotel category, swapping a Nile cruiser, or rearranging the order of your cities.
Inside 14 days, change requests are subject to supplier penalties plus any rate differences. We always quote the exact net cost before applying any change.
Force majeure & exceptional circumstances
We understand life happens. The following situations are handled with flexibility outside the standard tiers:
• Visa refusal: full refund minus the non-refundable supplier deposits, supported by your refusal letter.
• Documented medical emergency for a traveler in your party: we will work with you and our suppliers to either reschedule the trip at no agency fee or recover the maximum refund possible.
• Government-imposed travel bans, natural disasters, or pandemic restrictions affecting your origin or Egypt: we will offer either a full credit toward future travel within 24 months, or coordinate refunds based on what suppliers return.
• Internal supplier issues (cruise dry-dock, hotel closure, flight cancellation): we will rebook with an equivalent-or-better alternative at no cost to you, or refund the affected portion.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost luggage from the moment you confirm your booking. Insurance is the safest way to protect against last-minute cancellations that fall outside our standard refund tiers.
We are happy to recommend travel-insurance providers used by past travelers — just ask your planner.
Group bookings
For groups of 10 or more travelers, the cancellation tiers above apply per individual traveler in the group, but partial group cancellations may also affect the per-person price for the remaining travelers (some pricing depends on group size). Your planner will explain the exact impact in writing before any partial cancellation is finalized.
