Itinerary

What you'll do on the day.

Your adventure begins early in the morning when a representative meets you at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and escorts you to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, your Egyptologist guide will welcome you and lead you through the city that once served as the capital of ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom. The exploration starts on the East Bank of the Nile with a visit to the majestic Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever constructed in ancient Egypt. Wander through its vast courtyards, towering columns, and sacred halls as you learn about the pharaohs who expanded this monumental site over centuries. Continue to the nearby Luxor Temple, an elegant structure built over 3,400 years ago and dedicated to the renewal of kingship. Its graceful architecture and detailed carvings reveal the artistic mastery of ancient craftsmen. After completing your visits on the East Bank, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before crossing the Nile to the West Bank, known as the “City of the Dead.” Here, you will explore the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis where pharaohs were laid to rest in elaborately decorated tombs that have survived thousands of years. Next, visit the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built into the cliffs and dedicated to one of Egypt’s most powerful female rulers. Before concluding your tour, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues that have guarded the Theban necropolis for centuries. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and drive you back to your hotel, marking the end of an extraordinary day filled with history and discovery.
